Tried on some Hokas to see what the big deal was all about. Attentive and conversational sales rep was wearing the same pair...SOLD. In fact, most of the staff we encountered on the way out gave a quick hello or made eye contact. This is what great customer service looks like.

So had to stop in and grab a few things that I wanted to test out for our big ride down the pan american trail next year. They had a bunch of different selections for meals. While I was there I checked out what the rest of the store had. Lots of stuff for camping and hiking. A little bit for bikes a pretty good clothes selection and very little climbing stuff. So not a great location for any other sport related stuff but still service was good and they were willing to help

REI has a way of making you feel special, like you need this product, giving you super nice staff, with all the knowledge to help you make the best decisions. Plus if you're not satisfied you can return it no questions asked.

I needed to buy some new high quality Footwear so I came to REI. Ben, my salesperson was extremely helpful in explaining all the benefits of the different shoes that I tried on. Great experience!

Love the items and store personnel my review would be for the policy of rei. I accidentally bought woman’s pants on sale and tried to even exchange them for the same exact pants but in men’s and since they weren’t on sale that week they wanted me to pay 50 dollars more…I think they are the first store I ever went to that wouldn’t do an even exchange so they lost 105+ dollars I will go buy them at scheels Moosejaw Cabelas or another outdoor store that wants to accept my money

This store is a straight up disappointment. It’s so small there’s really no selection and the employees, when they’re not busy socializing, have zero expertise. This store is the epitome of why online shopping is oftentimes superior to brick and mortar locations. This store is pathetic - look elsewhere.

Browsing thru my ONCE favorite sporting goods store and noticed about half of their bikes were E-bikes. For a store that takes pride in promoting the Great Outdoors, and saving the environment, I have to ask how they can justify moving from all human powered bikes to about half of them now being electric powered. This can't help the environment! Oh, yeh, it's the bottom line. Money (i.e. profit) still trumps everything else. Thanks, REI, for reminding us leftist ideology and hypocrisy go hand-in-hand. I guess that's why I only browse in your store now to pass time while my wife shops for shoes and home goods.

So pleased with my experience. I worked with a young lady named Autumn, not only were her customer service skills great, but she knew the product line to the core. Ended up purchasing a Thule Force XT XL roof box and overall it was a wonderful experience. Largely due in part to Autumn. Give that young lady a raise! 5 stars.
